Web
Jill for hire. . .
A
pretty web site is just the beginning.
A majority of what makes a web site successful is done behind the
scenes. A good business plan and an effective design strategy support
each other .Together they make your web space interesting, efficient,
and more likely to be noticed.
What
is a Web Jill?
As a Web Jill, I have collaborated with clients on how to best market
their product or service on the web. I’ve written and edited
content to fit the web. I’ve added functionality such as a
guest book, tell-a-friend links, web forms, statistics pages, JavaScript,
and applets. Moreover,
I can provide ideas on how
to capture attention on this overcrowded highway.
For
example, I am particularly fond of using metaphor whenever my clients
allow me the opportunity. Because web information is 25% more difficult
to read than printed media, the effective use of metaphor allows
your message to penetrate before the visitor's brain can even engage
the words on the screen.
And once your site is up and running I'll
keep a watchful eye on your cyber territory. I'll
make sure your pages are current and all your links work. Always
scouring the Net, I'll look for ideas on how to make your web presence
stronger; add functionality (like a web board) that will transform
a web site into a web community; and discover ways you can extend
your services (e.g. partnering).
More
than just web design, ReeSolutions Web Works is about maintaining
and growing your presence on the web. It's about relationships.
I make it MY business to understand the dynamics of YOUR business
so we can grow the seeds we've planted.
How
does it work?
Hire
ReeSolutions to design or redesign your site based on your business
goals and web preferences. Then retain ReeSolutions to provide site
management services at modest monthly fee depending upon your service
requirements. It's like having a in-house webmaster. Updates are
timely and the web site always looks fresh. Try it, you'll be spoiled
in no time.
For
about $600 ReeSolutions Web Work can design a small-business site
of five or six pages, including logos, navigation bars, links and
buttons, scanned pictures, and advise you on preparing your texts
for search engines. If your web host supports Perl scripts, you
can add functionality such as a guest book, subscriber's list, or
tell-a-friend link for $50 per item.
