| The
owners of this web site wanted to keep the original design.
We integrated the the site under the .org designation as is
appropriate for a non-profit web site, cleaned up the internal
files, tightened the look, coordinated the web site colors with
the printed media, added functionality in the form of testimonial
pages, guest book, a donation graphic, and a hidden statistics
page. Our challenge is to make this wonderful site a good place
to visit during the "off conference" months by adding
articles of interest, selling products, and conducting a campaign
for donations. We wanted to make the web site visit a "healing
journey" into itself by making each page visually pleasing
and adding a sense of connection through photographs and testimonials.
This site did not have the design or tools like meta-tags to
help it be noticed on the Web. We have corrected this and are
constantly working to improve its visibility. We are increasing
traffic by selectively linking with other sites with share our
vision and goals. A "for subscribers only" email list
is being developed. We are a building an inspiration library
that will house articles on a wide variety of topics of interest
to the HJ constituency. |
