This site was created for a local Toastmasters Group to attract new members. After determining the reason most people join is related to career and self-confidence issues, the site's homepage was designed to address those very concerns. Because public speaking can be very daunting for many people, we showed pictures of actual members who are "doing it"--ordinary people who know how to have fun at gatherings and are willing to help new members. The banner at the top of the page rotates with such messages as "Want to speak your PASSION and make a DIFFERENCE?" in order to capture the "yes" in a visitor and entice them to contact the club. Plenty of pictures that show meetings are friendly, fun and informative. Testimonials show how Toastmasters has helped its members gain confidence and success. There's club news about contests, new members, and anniversary events. We'd like our visitors to know that Sunrise Center TM is a friendly place where people can grow and learn. Won't YOU join us?
